I’m David Delaney. In 2017 I began my accounting education by enrolling at the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management. That program prepared me for the modern job of a CPA with courses covering data processing and analysis, along with more traditional accounting, economics and finance. I received my MS from Isenberg, passed the CPA exam and in 2021 became a CPA licensed in the state of Connecticut. My father, Peter Delaney, has been a CPA in South Windsor, CT since the 1980s. I worked in his firm during my studies and until 2023 when I began my separate practice.

I’ve helped businesses from mom and pop outfits tracking income and expenses on paper, to tech companies with multi million dollar revenues understand, file, and optimize their taxes. As I assist my clients, to the extent of their interest, I always aid them in gaining greater understanding of the financial ins and outs of their business.

Previous to my career as a CPA I was a professional musician specializing in Bluegrass and Folk music, primarily teaching and performing in the Boston area. I play the fiddle and attended Berklee College of Music. I still make music, but am grateful to do so with no financial pressure. You can hear my music at www.WhiskeyBoys.com.
