Making Connecticut Pass Through Entity Tax Estimated Payments Online

As laid out elsewhere on this site, The Connecticut Pass Through Entity Tax (CTPE) is a very complicated topic. Connecticut added one extra provision that has caused a lot of headaches: the requirement that estimated payments be made online. Previously, many tax payers now subject to the CTPE made their Connecticut Individual Estimated Payments via mailed in vouchers with checks. Doing the same with the CTPE will unfortunately result in letters from the state threatening you with penalties.

Thankfully, paying online is not very difficult and after a few tries may even save you some time. To begin the process visit this link and fill in your CT Registration number. If you require assistance with this, please contact our office and we will give you a quote to walk you through it.
